It seems Zeus even has a problem with BP
You hear how the much-maligned oil company of the Gulf has not only positioned themselves as "Public Enemy #1" and "The ecosystem's worst friend ever" but has now managed to hack off the proprietors of Mount Olympus?!
This staggering story from the New York Daily News:
A fire believed to be caused by a lightning bolt forced the shutdown Tuesday of an oil-capturing system near the gushing Gulf oil well, BP spokesman Robert Wine said.
Seriously?
A lightning bolt could pierce the umpteen million miles of the Gulf, but it just happened to strike a BP boat? The balloon girl of the Indian Ocean sails for three days and no sharks, no inclement weather, not even heatstroke.
Some dude working for BP trots his tugboat out in the water and Mr. Release the Kraken decides to play target practice.
