Hey PR person! You up for this challenge?

If you are unemployed, underemployed or just interested in playing the field to see what's out there, you have officially met the end of the line with what has to be the "Job from PR Hell."

Let's see... how would I define such a sardonic job posting? I got it, and can do it in two letters: "B. P."

As told by CNNMoney.com, BP Global has officially posted their major domo of hype and ballyhoo. They call it, "Director of Media Relations - Gulf Coast Restoration" but we will call it "Flack Purgatory."

In case you are interested in jumping through hoops of fire, and dodging arrows engulfed in it, here's a brief description of interest:

[Applicant] ensures that the VP, Communications and External Affairs is immediately notified of all inquiries from The New York Times, The Washington Post, as well as inquiries from other national media outlets that could potentially, when reported, drive news nationally

"Potentially"? That's rich.

This is a company that probably for the next millenium will fart and fall down wrong while facing a blue sky and get headlines about ruining the ozone layer reading, "Eco Enemy #1 Blue Flames the Horizon
Once Again."

Yeah, where can I sign up for that gig?
