God may forgive your past... Google doesn't

It's no secret Google is on a surreptitious mission to rule the universe.

First, it's a search engine, then e-mail, now they analyze, but first they have maps of the world or your very address in color. Shoot, their brand is a friggin' VERB!

And now, thanks to an article in the Wall Street Journal, "Big Brother's" CEO Eric Schmidt seems to think Google is taking a life of its own:

"We're trying to figure out what the future of search is," Mr. Schmidt said. “One idea is that more and more searches are done on your behalf without you needing to type... I actually think most people don't want Google to answer their questions. They want Google to tell them what they should be doing next."

It was just a matter of time right? First, we see movies like "The Matrix" and "T3: Rise of the Machines", and now we are living it.

But wait, conspiracy theorists (and yes, Brent, I'm talking to you), there's more:

Mr. Schmidt said he believed that every young person will one day be allowed to change their name to distance themselves from embarrasssing photographs and material stored on their friends' social media sites.

Kids are populating their ego storehouses online with risque photos and with reckless abandon. People are tweeting with voracity that would make a sailor blush and blog posts with such angst you would think they were channeling Mel Gibson. (Too soon?)

And once they discuss how boring the search for Mr. Right, but how hot Mr. Right Now was the other evening, they forget Google stores that mess forever. This is the new world we live in.

It's like Google is a hoarder I saw on A&E and just pack ratting everything to spite you. (Yes, I invented a word... what's up.)

This harrowing statement should make people realize that although it's called "Social Media", let's temper just how social you should be. You know, if you like your surname and all.
