Norma's Cafe: Proof things don't always have to change
Ever been one of those persnickety kids who complained to your parents, "Broccoli again?! You always cook the same thing." Never mind you have food on the table, you little brat, but there you are, upset at the mere thought of more food.
So, Mom tries to spruce up the S.O.S. (look it up) and tuna casserole but you're on to her mischievous ways. You feed the dog under the table and sneak into your room for some chips and that Snickers you have been hiding under the bed for a rainy day.
And then there are places like our wonderful client Norma's Cafe.
This is a Dallas dining destination that has been serving up the same plates of great food and great times for 56 years! Every year around this time, Norma's Cafe serves up one of the following dishes to whosoever will (bring a wheelbarrow and a pillow) for only $1.79:
- Meatloaf
- Chicken & Dressing
- Its award-winning, trend setting and tummy filling Chicken Fried Steak
Not enough? Try one of those with mashed potatoes and green beans. The recipe has never changed and neither has the excitement in Dallas for this Texas-style great food. If you're able to get out for lunch, do it early tomorrow and hit either one of Norma's Cafe locations.
