Getting Back as Much as We Give

HCK2 has a long-term commitment to giving back to non-profits in the local North Texas community, as it is a key piece of our company’s culture. One of the organizations we’ve had the opportunity to partner with over the past year is Ability Connection, which serves more than 700 individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities across Texas.

Last year, HCK2 volunteered at Ability Connection for our annual Freedom Day outing, where we went to the facility to play games and other activities with the members. It was a day full of fun! Our team already looks forward to many more rounds of Bingo and Uno with the residents.

Between games, decorating group homes, attending fundraising events and more, we also kicked off the pro bono logo work for Ability Connection and can’t wait to reveal the final product in the weeks to come!

Our CEO, Heather Capps, serves as a board member for Ability Connection and is personally invested in furthering the organization’s mission to enhance the quality of life for people with disabilities. And as a work family here at HCK2, we get as much joy and value out of our time with Ability Connection as we give.
