A Day of Service to Honor Those Who Have Served
Each year, in honor of the lives we lost during the September 11 terrorist attacks, HCK2 Partners volunteers with the Entrepreneurs for North Texas (EFNT) to participate in the organization’s annual Freedom Day. For the past 12 years EFNT has brought the North Texas community together in an amazing day of service. From children’s retreats, to repairing and beautifying local schools, Freedom Day has transformed the heartbreak of September 11th into a day of community, service and commemoration.
This year’s event focused on providing resources for a local Dallas VA Medical Center campus, during which our team worked to paint several interior walls of the building. In addition to painting at the VA Medical Center, HCK2 donated more than 250 items to the VA hospital to help veterans in need of assistance at home, including personal care products (shampoo, razors and toothbrushes) and home care products (laundry detergent, washcloths and dinnerware sets).
We look forward to Freedom Day every year and are honored to dedicate our time to the men and women who have dedicated their lives to serve our country and ensure our freedom. To see more photos of HCK2 at this year’s event, visit our Facebook page.
