NTT Security
Organic Social Content Strategy & Execution
NTT Security—recently consolidated as a division of the global technology-services company NTT Ltd.—helps companies create a digital business that is secure by design. With unsurpassed threat intelligence, NTT Ltd. helps clients predict, detect and respond to cyber threats, while supporting business innovation and managing risk. The company handles hundreds of thousands of security incidents annually across six continents, leveraging the expertise of more than 2,000 security experts in 10 Security Operations Centers (SOCs) and seven R&D centers. The Security division of NTT Ltd. ensures that resources are used effectively by delivering the right mix of managed security services, security consulting and security technology.
The Challenge
As NTT Ltd. moved toward its consolidation of 28 individual companies, U.S.-based NTT Security needed to continue utilizing its social media channels to help migrate more followers to the new company’s global channels. Because there was no single internal owner of the channels, NTT Security turned to HCK2 – which already handled its PR – for help.
The Solution
HCK2 developed a content calendar, which was approved by the client each week and loaded into Sprout Social for ease of deployment. HCK2 strategically focused only on the company’s Twitter and LinkedIn channels because its Facebook presence, at least in the United States, was very small. HCK2 leveraged existing blog content from NTT Security thought leaders, and combined those with HCK2’s successful PR efforts to create compelling content and social copy that followed the best practices of each channel.
Social Media Posts
The Results
HCK2 helped transition 4,433 Twitter followers – the highest audience in the global group – to the new channels and developed content to help attract new followers, increasing the total number of Security Americas followers by 5% in just four months. The company has retained HCK2 to continue developing social media content for the global channels.
