Hanging at the water cooler

  • #1 on your bucket list?
  • A trip Antarctica on a National Geographic ship full of biologists and botanists. Currently planned for 2025.

  • Next personal learning objective?
  • Hoping to get certified on LinkedIn by the end of 2020 – halfway there right now.

  • Proudest moment?
  • When my 3 year-old godson told me I was his best friend.

  • Weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
  • Kudu – a type of antelope with spectacular horns -  I tried Kudu steak when I was on safari in South Africa and it was delicious.

  • If you could spend a day visiting with any person – past or present – who would it be and why?
  • The Apostle Paul. He is my favorite and I love his vulnerability, honesty and ability to passionately pursue the most important things in life.

Kelly Christensen

Vice President, Brand Strategy

The daughter of a naval officer, Kelly grew up all over the world. She was born in New Iberia, Louisiana and has lived in 20+ places since then, but we’re happy to say that she calls Dallas home.

Perhaps it’s her history of constant change and quick adaptation that has enabled Kelly to see the big picture in marketing and pull from the best to create successful solutions. Her career is defined by her development and management of integrated marketing campaigns that leverage an eclectic mix of tactics, including traditional, digital and social media, experiential marketing, loyalty marketing, direct mail and public relations. Over the years, she has put that skill to work for B2B and B2C clients across the spectrum, in banking, hospitality, technology, food & beverage, tax consultancies, arts and entertainment, casual dining restaurants, retail, travel, real estate, telecommunications, healthcare and more.

Her expertise has not gone unnoticed, either, garnering numerous nominations, accolades and awards, including the Advertising Federation (AAF) 2010 Member of the Year, the Dallas Morning News 2012 Silver Finalist Award for best industry campaign, multiple Chairman’s Awards from McCann WorldGroup for generating incremental revenue, several Circle of Excellence Awards from Targetbase Marketing, and the Proctor & Gamble Global Marketing Achievement Award for outstanding, results-oriented marketing.

Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and her master’s degree in education from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
