In 2013, Trend Micro moved its global operations headquarters to Dallas and looked to have a celebratory “open house” event for customers, civic leaders and other influencers in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. HCK2 led planning efforts from concepting the theme of the event to executing all event details.
Playing off one of the largest events in Texas, in October – the Texas State Fair – HCK2 developed the idea of “Big Tech” to promote the new technology company in the area.
With the coinciding State Fair as the inspiration for the event, the event materials (invitations and signage) were designed accordingly. HCK2 assisted TrendMicro with all event management, from catering to decorating, while also securing media coverage about TrendMicro’s new headquarters, reaching an audience of more than 2 million.
